This Privacy Policy describes how Windy ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information when you use the Windy mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Your photos and videos are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers. All media processing — including viewing, sorting, archiving, and deleting — happens entirely on your device. We do not have access to the content of your photo library.
2.1. Device and Usage Data We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as feature usage frequency, session duration, and app performance metrics) to improve the App. This data does not contain personally identifiable information and cannot be used to identify you.
2.2. Advertising Data We use Google AdMob to display ads within the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and interaction data for ad delivery and measurement purposes. If you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) may be shared with advertising partners for personalized ads. You can opt out at any time through your device Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
2.3. Subscription Data We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase-related data provided by the App Store (such as transaction IDs and subscription status). We do not have access to your payment details — all payments are processed by Apple.
2.4. Support Communications If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect your name, email address, and diagnostic information you provide. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Photo Library: Required for the core functionality of the App — to display, organize, archive, and delete your photos and videos.
Notifications: Optional. Used to send local reminders about your cleaning streak and achievements. No data is transmitted externally.
App Tracking Transparency: Optional. Used to request permission for personalized advertising.
We use the following third-party services:

These services may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies.
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers. Anonymous usage data is retained in aggregated form. If you contact support, your communication data is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, and you may request deletion at any time.
